Every number carries its source, its age and its reliability.
Most valuation tools hand you a figure and ask you to trust it. VehIQ shows the chain behind it: where the record came from, when it was fetched, how the estimate was made and how far to lean on it.

Where do the numbers come from?
Vehicle facts come from the official registry of the country the plate belongs to, where that lookup exists. Price estimates come from VehIQ's valuation model. Each value shows its source and the time it was fetched.
How reliable is the price estimate?
Every estimate carries a reliability tier: low, medium or high. It is based on make, model and year only, so it is a modelled range and not an asking price, and it does not know the mileage or the condition of one car.
Why does the estimate not change when I look again?
An estimate for a vehicle is kept for 24 hours, so the same vehicle shows the same number on every visit in that time. After that it is calculated again and may change; the date on it says when.
Which countries are covered?
The list is read from the service each time and shown in the bar at the top of every page and on the data sources page. That list is the one to trust, because it is never typed in by hand.
Do I need an account?
No. You can search and get an estimate without signing in or signing up.
